ROUTE Magazine launches in February 2018

February 2018 brings good news for fans of the Mother Road, for next month sees the launch of a new magazine dedicated to Route 66, specifically focusing on the landscapes, history, culture and most of all, the people of the route.

ROUTE Magazine is a high quality, 64 page bi-monthly publication and will be found in numerous motel and hotel rooms along Route 66, in numerous Barnes and Noble stores stateside, and for international readers, online via its digital version and platform.

The official ROUTE Magazine website launches in late January and the print version of the magazine will be on shelves on February 2018.

The great news is that the good folks at ROUTE Magazine are going to offer the digital version free of charge to members of the UK Route 66 Association for the first year! If you’re not already a member you can join here.

ROUTE is set to bring something new and fresh to lovers of road travel and Route 66 with its storytelling style and focus. Their tagline says it all: “We have some stories to tell”.

In their own words:

“ROUTE Magazine was inspired by the pure joy of discovering the pleasures that traveling Route 66 has to offer – from history to art to roadside attractions to iconic stories, people, local features, to food and drink – and the desire to capture and share these discoveries with others.

ROUTE Magazine is committed to the advancement of Route 66, support for Route 66 located businesses, providing content that showcases Route 66; the history, the diversity, the beauty, and the people of the old road.”
